Gonzo70 Posted December 29, 2011 #2 Share Posted December 29, 2011 Yes, there are video poker machines; I believe they have 25 cent, 50 cent and $1 denominations, but not certain. You need to ask on your Roll Call board about a slot pull. Have a fun cruise. :)

buffi001 Posted December 29, 2011 #5 Share Posted December 29, 2011 Yes....and they have a decent amount of my spending money from our Nov cruise. It sounds like I'm a sore loser, but they sure seemed "tight" to me......and since the machines are not regulated, and the cruise line sets the odds, & since they owe a lot of $$$$ for their new ship...it makes sense. Hitner got a big kick out of your reply.my understanding of how the machines are regulated, is that they are under Nevada rules. Hope this correct but who knows.:) They pretty much follow the Nevada rules and there is an organization of cruise lines that sets standards, etc for casinos on cruise ships. The organization, however has not teeth behind it or enforcement powers as the states do over the land based casinos. I have played many casinos on land but do not play on cruise ships because I believe the winning percentage is just not competitive because there is no competition. Heres a good article on a cruise casino website which explains it pretty well. http://www.cruise-casinos.com/rules.htm
