Ecstasy - water slide

Wondering how the adults like the water slide. Anyone tried the slide?

If you have ever been to a real water park you will be pretty disappointed.

They have made them so "safe" that you cannot reach the end without stopping twice.

Even the kids had to push themselves to get through it...

I did the slide on Ecstasy at the end of September. I wouldn't go on a previous cruise (afraid!), so just decided that I would go ahead and give it a try. I loved it! My husband went with me another couple times afterwards, too. (he had went on other ship's slides previously) Glad I overcame my fear! Now to try ziplining!

I did not stop at all on the slide. Nor did I have to push myself.

If it's the waterworks slides like they have on Fascination I loved them. I liked the downhill racing slide better than the twister slide. Did not stop on either of them but on the twister slide did not make it all the way to the end where the water is so I didn't get wet on it. Did make it to the very end on the racing slide.

I did the Waterworks on Fantasy (and I'm 51). Loved the slides and did them multiple times. (Still trying to figure out whether I embarrassed my son.:p) One word of warning for women - watch out if you stand under the buckets that dump water - it can take down the straps on your bathing suit!:eek:

I enjoy the big water parks but my knees don't like the stair so it may just be a few times for me.

We went on the Ecstasy in March 2011 and I enjoyed it just as much as my kids!!
