stoneharborlady Posted January 10, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 10, 2012 Hi, Our cruise is out of Ft. Lauderdale on Nov. 4. We will fly in the day before and stay one night pre cruise in a hotel there. Do you think it is far too early at this point to book a hotel for Saturday November 3rd? How far in advance would you book? Thank you!

Booking with Priceline it's usually hit or miss this far out, but booking direct with hotel would be fine. I can't think of anything major holiday wise around that date with the exception of Halloween

Nope book now because that is the weekend after the boat show and it is busy then.

Do you think it is far too early at this point to book a hotel for Saturday November 3rd? How far in advance would you book? Thank you! We booked our hotel (Sleep Inn Dania, Fla.) May 30 for our Nov. 27 cruise. Under $100. and we weren't charged until we actually checked out. Hope this helps.
eandj Posted January 10, 2012 #5 Share Posted January 10, 2012 If it is indeed a boat show weekend, book something now that you can cancel later as the date approaches...in case you spot a bargain somwhere else. That means wait to research hotwire and priceline. You cannot cancel those.
