JOANN226 Posted May 13, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 13, 2004 I was going to pack beach/pool towels for our cruise 7/18, my daughter a previous cruiser said that they give you pool towels, how does that work, I figured I would need towels going onto the private island. cliffd64 Posted May 13, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2004 No.. you on't need to bring your own. Every time you leave the ship you can sign out a bunch of towels and return them when you get back. It's really simple and quite easy. Imagine how ... ummm... pungent your beachtowel might be after a week of use with no real laundry Cliff Carnival Holiday November 2001 Norwegian Sky 11/4/2002 Norwegian Sky 11/11/2002 Norwegian Wind 10/11/2003 Norwegian Dawn 12/14/2003 Norwegian Sun 02/08/2004
trish1c Posted May 13, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 13, 2004 Joann -- When you get off the ship you sign for towels you are taking w/ you. When you bring them back the receipts are collected. If you don't bring them back they charge you -- $22 a towel I think. Some people prefer their own towels b/c they're easier to find in a sea of identical ones, but there's really no place to clean or dry them. Plus w/ luggage space at a premium, why waste it on a towel. Trish
JOANN226 Posted May 13, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted May 13, 2004 Thank you so much for giving me my answer, I really didnt want to have to pack them, and I can imagine what they would end up smelling like. Now I have more room for more clothes. Which I know I am over packing.
Big Al B. Posted May 13, 2004 #5 Share Posted May 13, 2004 They also keep a supply of towels at each pool location. Just use them and put them in the proper place when you are finished.
