zoo in Nassau

this will be our 2nd time in nassau .just DD (11) and me ..

we want to check out the zoo . Is it nice ? can you walk there ?

anything else to see along the way ?

Yes, you could walk there (about 20 minutes) .. but most people don't. There's a sign across from Arawak Cay /Fort Charlotte that leads to the Zoo.

about 2 blocks off the main road (West Bay Street).

We took a taxi to Ardastra and walked back. Recommend taxi both ways.

 

Ardastra is nice- when we were there it was pleasant. We enjoyed the Marching Flamingos and photographing the peacocks and birds. It is a small zoo, but fun.
