Anyone on Pride Know the Reason for the $12.45 OBC?

We just got off Pride on Feb 5th and we had a $12.50 OBC per person show up on our bill the last day. It sounded like everyone on the ship had it. Does anyone know what this was from? Reduced port charge? Definitely not complaining!! Just wondering. It was a nice surprise in addition to the $50/stateroom MasterCard OBC that showed up. Life on Pride was great!

Most likely a drop in taxes. You can view it by going to carnival.com and reviewing your cruise documents.

Just tried to check my cruise documents but since we've already sailed it won't let me view them. That's OK. I'll just say "thank you" and be happy about it!

A drop in the average price in the port fees (per person). Taxes will remain the same but as more people book the average price per person for the port fees will go down.

It is indeed a reduced of port charges. During the booking process, Carnival estimates the charges. Then as the ship sail, carnival is charged what the port agency says. Anything left over, is given to the guest as OBC
