Port of New York Transfer Information

Does anyone know of a good company to use for airport transfers from LGA to the Port of New York? Cruise transfers were really expensive for this trip!

a new york city yellow cab(always waiting at LGA) will cost about $30-5 per cab(for up to 4 people). A car service will cost about the same. see http://www.carmellimo.com as an example...

Try reposting this question on the Ports/United States/East Coast Departures board. You will also find previous posts with related info on that board.

No need to repost anywhere. Two native New Yorkers who are thoroughly familiar with the available transportation options have already answered. We're the same people who would have answered the question if it had been posted on East Coast Departures.

When you say 'Port of New York', if you mean the Manhattan or Brooklyn cruise terminals, I would concur that using a metered 'yellow' taxi is good.

If however you mean Cape Liberty, located in Bayonne, NJ....that is another matter. In that case using a non-metered car service will probably cost less, if coming from LGA or JFK. Better to use EWR in that case if you can.

The question posted was about LGA and the Manhattan cruise terminal...
