hal2008 Posted February 22, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 22, 2012 Website is pretty clear that you can book up to 4 days before the sail date. But not clear about penalty-free cancellation. Can you cancel on the first day after you board the ship for excusion prebooked previously that is taking place on 3rd or 5th day of the cruise? Appreciate any info you might have encountered. hal2008 Posted February 23, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted February 23, 2012 RCI's T&C says that anything booked presail online, you have to cancel 10 days in advance. Their excursion booklet conradicts it and says shoul dbe canceled 4days prior to saildate otherwise you will get onboard credit Excusion booked on board, will have cancellation deadline conveyed at the time of on board booking. Calling RCI results in a different variation of answers (including "once purchased can never be cancelled")!!

My nephew cut his forehead open the day before we left, so we had to cancel the snorkel tour we had booked weeks ahead of time. Excusion desk told us as long as it is cancelled 24 hours before, it is fine. They got an onboard credit for the price of the excursion, which was fine. Gave them extra $$ for the ship. suezyq50 Posted February 24, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 24, 2012 We also cancelled an excursion once on board. We were given OBC, rather than credit put back on our cc we used.
