New York Hotel Shuttle?

Hi there!

 

Does anyone know of a hotel near the New York cruise port that has a shuttle to the pier? I know that alot of Miami hotels allow you to park for the week and then shuttle you to the cruise port in a "Sleep-Park-Cruise" package. Has anyone heard of that in NY?

I don't think there are any. I have not read anything about hotels near the pier and when I searched, none came up. A taxi is probably the most efficient and economical way. If I hear of anything I will post.

NY doesn't cater to the cruiselines the way Miami does. I doubt very seriously if there are any shuttles. IMHO, a taxi is always the best. ;)

Parking at NYC hotels can be as expensive as $75 per day.

Are you driving to NY and then parking your car for the duration of the cruise?

If you can avoid driving here, I'd advise that.

 

If so, then I would advise you to look around the net and see if you can find any garages or parking lots that have weekly rates. Day rates are very high.

 

From the garage, take a taxi to the pier. We don't have shuttles like in Miami.
