I just got off the Allure of the seas 2 weeks ago and Ken Rush was our CD. As of tday he is on vacation for 10 weeks and I don't know who took over. I wasn't impressed with him, my favorite so far is Allan Brooks who I can't find anywhere. Richard Spacey was great too last year on Oasis.

Allan should have replaced Ken on Allure today, according to Allan's facebook page, so you missed him by one week - I'm just awaiting confirmation from someone on that sailing before I update the list. Allan was our CD on Allure last year, and I agree, he is wonderful!

Who on earth is Pietro Asilli ? He is listed as taken over from Joff Eaton , but only until June ? Someone who just got off Indy thought they heard Joff say he was staying till the end of may , can anyone confirm that Joff has actualy left Indy ? Luke Aerosmith is listed To join Indy the 2nd of June so it would seem strange to change cruise directors twice in three months ?

I try to sift through all the reviews for CD info. If anyone can help me, please post what you know (and provide your source if possible), or refer me to a review or thread that contains the info.

 

Please note the info does not come from an "official" source, and emails from RCI stating who the CD will be on a future cruise are often incorrect. CD's are not on a specific rotation schedule, and they move around from ship to ship, so it's impossible to predict in advance. Accuracy of this list is only as good as people reporting back to us after their cruises. It may be off by weeks, or even months.

The Rhapsody CD is correct. Source: Casey Pelter was on our cruise when ship went into Singapore drydock March 1, he verified he would be on ship for post drydock cruise Mar 29, and he is in the RCI publicity photo cutting ribbon at start of the post drydock cruise which is currently sailing.

The only Pietro that i know was previously an international host, assisting the CD on sailings out of Italy, he would join the CD on stage to make all the international language translations. If the same person , then he is very pleasant, quite loud and when speaking english, he speaks very quickly. He is enthusiastic and wants people to have a good time, but it may not be the same person :)

The only Pietro that i know was previously an international host, assisting the CD on sailings out of Italy, he would join the CD on stage to make all the international language translations. If the same person , then he is very pleasant, quite loud and when speaking english, he speaks very quickly. He is enthusiastic and wants people to have a good time, but it may not be the same person :)

 

That doesn't sound like someone they would put onboard Indy leaving from Southampton ,they wouldn't need a language translator lol .

OK, I'm going to go with ctcontrol's information, since you provided a reliable source that Joff is leaving on April 7th. I'm also going to go back to the original info we had regarding Luke Aerosmith being Joff's replacement, because that info was reported to come directly from Joff. And, the math adds up perfectly with this info. (Graham is currently on Freedom and James is on Liberty, so they cannot be the replacements.) Thanks so much for helping to clear up our confusion!

 

Looking at the posting history, it doesn't even appear that davila was on the Indy recently. If davila can provide a reliable source regarding Pietro, or someone else can step in a give a solid confirmation, I'm going to have to put this info on the back burner. Cpuld it be that Pietro was working on the CD or activities staff instead?
