sweetcurves Posted March 21, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2012 By $30/pp for inside cabin, Freedom, sailing 10/14/12. Does this mean anything? Minus the obvious higher cost.

ready2cruzagain Posted March 21, 2012 #4 Share Posted March 21, 2012 ES for an inside cabin on our next cruise has gone up over $500 pp so going up $30 pp doesn't look that bad.
golfadj Posted March 21, 2012 #5 Share Posted March 21, 2012 Carnival will adjust pricing depending upon how the sailing is selling. Very often it will go up and than if not full a few weeks before the cruise bargains can be had and you can cash in on your ES.
big_duck Posted March 21, 2012 #6 Share Posted March 21, 2012 When you purchase ES you are promised the lowest price, not that the price will go lower.

Probably that the cruise is selling pretty good right now so Carnival is pushing up the prices a little to maximize profits. If the sales slow down, maybe the prices will come down a little. I noticed my cabin (7A) went up by $ 150 per person in just one day. Between 4 of use in two cabins would be additional $ 600 in total. So glad we bookied way in advance for the November Legend sailing.
