What is the most economical way to get from Miami International Airport to the Port of Miami? There are two of us.

I can't remember if it is a flat fare and if so your cabbie cannot. If it is metered, the meter will keep running, which is fair, you'll probably just want to be quick.

It is a flat rate. Of course the cabbie will charge you extra for the stop.

Some have reported success in negotiating with the driver for a $10 tip on top of the flat rate fare instead of running the meter. Why a tip instead of a higher fare you ask? :confused: Because the driver keeps all of his tips, but splits the cab fare with the cab company. :o
