Beaches at Grand Cayman cruise terminal?

7 Mile Beach isn't far....and it extends for 6 miles or so (it's not actually 7 miles long!!!)

You don't want to swim at the harbor....where the ships are...leaking oil or other fluids!

There is a bus ($2.50 pp) that will take you to nice beaches...Seagrape is a good place!

No need for excursions! Just hop on the bus with your towel and sunscreen...they have chair/umbrella rentals, restrooms, food/drink on the beach!

About 1 - 1 1/2 miles from the tender pier turn left to 7 mile beach.

Hmm, it definitely seemed longer than 1 1/2 miles to get to 7 mile, but it may have been. We just grabbed a taxi and it cost us about $10 total to get dropped off a few miles into 7 mile beach.

That's because you may have been dropped off at the 1st tourist beach club but 7 mile beach starts around 1.5 miles from the tender pier.

Possibly. I don't remember exactly where we were dropped off at because while we got into a cab to take us to Cemetery Beach, the cab driver made us get out when she dropped off another couple. I was not happy but she wouldn't take us any farther, despite her sign in the window.

The first beach with public access is going to be where Comfort Suites are located.

That's about 1.5 miles walk. Just head left when you land and keep going until you turn into the Comfort Suites driveway and then keep going past the dive center.

Beach access there has been a bit hit and miss but if can't get through there go a bit further up and try opposite the Triple Crown Pub, that should be open.
