The Crossing was the best ever ! And I've been on a few. Captain Lund is a legend. What he and his senior officers did for the crew will go down in Sea Dream II history. The party with the crew was excellent. Will it ever be repeated ? Depends how many of you book next year. As they say "what happens on the SDII x-ing, stays on SDII x-ing" How's your foot doing Ria ? Did any of you see my notice on the x-ing blog (day 6, photo 9 on http://www.seadream.com/seadrem2-europe-dcrossing-2012-day-6) ? Back on board very soon, see you there Bob !

I missed your notice on the X-ing blog that you mentioned.. Sorry ... and the link doesn't work any more.... fill me in. Thanks

Thanks for the link. And, yes this is our first Grandbaby. We are visiting him now in Gainesville, FL.

And. we just did the final payment for the crossing..

A little over 3 months out.... Looking forward to it.... Now that we have air, hotel, and cruise decided and paid.

Next step is to figure out what (if any) tours to do in Barcellona for the two days we are there before the trip. Anyone booking anything?

We are flying from New Orleans (KSMY) to JFK... and then over to BCN on DL#94 on the PM of 10/23. If you are flying on Delta, we are probably on the same flight.

We are staying at Hotel Continental Palacte in BCN. Have a city tour booked on the afternoon of arrival, a Montserrat & Wine Tour on Thursday, and a Medieval Mountain Tour booked on Friday.. then onto Sea Dream.

For those wondering (there was a question on another thread), the word from SD2 is that all is well. It was apparently rather rough as they were leaving Barcelona but things have calmed down and comfortable. Weather is cool but warming up.

They passed Gibralter a couple hours ago. No word though as to when (or if) the crossing website will be up and running.

There are 73 passengers with many of the usual suspects among passengers and crew.
