Port of Tampa parking

Hello all, we leave in 49 days on the Legend out of Tampa. Do any of you CC members know of any good places to park that will take you to the port or is the port the best place to park? Also how much is the parking. We are driving from Clermont which is just west of Orlando. Thank you to anyone who answers

We're on the Legend in 2 weeks. I've read where people have recommended Capital Parking. Google and you should be able to find it. It's $5.99 per day plus tax

We're local, so we use the parking garage at Channelside - it's quick, convenient, and not too expensive.

The parking garage is great. It is right across the street. Very short walk.

For sheer convenience the Port Parking lot is directly across the street and thereabouts of $14 per day. You can drive thru a circular loading area in the port, drop of Luggage with Porters, exit, drive almost a block down the street and pull-in, park and walk back. Valet parking is offered for a few $$ more. ken

The rate for parking at the port is $15 per day (went up last Oct). This is still the best option IMO. We did look at other options but didn't like the locations and some places will ask to hold your car keys. The port parking is close and secure. Enjoy your cruise.

Another option is a hotel if you can get a price lower then $105--the garage rate--where you can leave your car. I know you're close to port but it might be a nice option to stay in a hotel overnight for about $69 and use their shuttle.
