DEL67 Posted May 20, 2005 #101 Share Posted May 20, 2005 Garry and Bob: We have reservations on the Brilliance fall transatlantic. I did not reserve a balcony cabin because I thought that it would be too cold and windy for us to use (we need a handicap cabin so an aft balcony is not an option.) Am I correct? gkm Posted May 20, 2005 Author #102 Share Posted May 20, 2005 Dale, when is your TA? We did one last fall (September) from Rome to Baltimore and the weather was wonderful. Later in the year might be iffy, and I had heard that about 2 weeks after we got home it turned cool and rainy. On this past one, we had good and bad days (especially the storm), and the it turned cooler as we got closer to the Med. I'm just one of those people that have to have a balcony, hot or cold. You'll find me out there even for short spurts to have a look. The aft cabins are a long walk!;) Garry
DEL67 Posted May 20, 2005 #103 Share Posted May 20, 2005 Garry: Its not until mid-November. That's why I questioned whether we would really use a balcony.
gkm Posted May 20, 2005 Author #104 Share Posted May 20, 2005 Dale, you probably won't need one then, unless you're cruising to the Caribbean and have a few stops there. I get a little claustophobic and really like to be able to go outdoors.:D Garry
