Ruby is not in Ft. Lauderdale this morning. Alas, I will miss watching her sail away via camera cam today. Is she now on her way to the Mediterranian?

believe so, originally the brochures had her in fll till may, believve this was changed although i do not have an original brochure handy....pretty sure she was scheduled to do a crossing around the 3rd week in april you probably just missed her...someone will know the exact date...in my memory it was April 26th-ish on the trans-atlantic but at this point i would have to check the website.

She left for her trans-atlantic last Sunday, the 22nd. My parents are on her.

Yes, Last Sunday April 22, she departed FLL for the final time this winter. (Spring?) and headed for Europe. The number of cruise ships (and, of course the parade) has been reduced considerably now until fall. only 2 today, a Carnival ship and the Allure. From what I can tell, the two RCI monsters will continue all summer, the Oasis on Saturday and the Allure on Sunday. Not sure about any others.

We are boarding the Ruby on May 6th in Barcelona...

Ruby has gone on to the Med. She is in Rome now or about to get there and back to Barcelona. I was on the next to last of her trips in the Caribbean.:cool:

During the Fall to Spring cruise season, you can watch lots of Princess', and other cruise line's, sailaways at the Port Everglades webcam site.

If you can't find the appropriate port cam you can always look at the ship cams....
