Sinppu Posted May 23, 2012 #31 Share Posted May 23, 2012 I always wonder when people say they pack only three pairs of shoes "so they have space for other things". What are these other things? Do they pack too many clothes or just stuff that seems superfluous to me  I've been on two cruises and didn't have packing problems either time. Then again we travel a lot and have become quite efficient in packing -and I still never limit my shoe intake! :p I usually have: 1 pair Converse sneakers 1 pair flip flops 1 pair ballerinas/ dressy sandals 2 pairs formal night heels This year I'll also pack my running shoes since I have just started training for a half marathon. I usually bring some unnecessary items in exchange for extra shoes. If I plan to snorkel then I bring fins, mask, snorkel and I ALWAYS bring my travel steamer. Last cruise was over Halloween so I brought my costume. Then there is always the extra hair products and tools if there is still spare room. I have brought extra shoes in the past but I find that I have them all over the cabin if I bring too many.
