Seafood in Long Beach

Recommended Posts

We ate at Parker's Lighthouse which is about a five minute walk from the Hyatt in Long Beach and enjoyed the seafood.

I cant'r remember the restaurant but in the downtown area which was about a 10 minute walk from the Hyatt there were a couple of really great seafood restaurants.

Parker's would be described many ways, I can not imagine that "great" is one of them. In the immediate area, King's Fish House is probably the best.

I would go to King's as advised above.

You can take the Passport shuttle that stops at the Hotel Maya to its location on Pine Ave.

Your other downtown choice is Gladstone's--also has a great view, but I think the food is awful. Been there 3 times and have thought my meal was so-so at best.

It always wins best seafood restaurant in Long Beach--puzzles me. I think King's is the best in Long Beach (Walt's Wharf in Seal Beach is the best in the area)--but Parker's Lighthouse is a beautiful building.
