How far from Puerta Maya pier to Carlos N' Charlies in Cozumel?

The Valor docks at the Puerta Maya pier in Cozumel, and we have several in our group that want to visit Carlos N' Charlies, since we are there until 10pm. Is Carlos N' Charlies right there at that pier? Or within walking distance? If you need to take a cab there, any idea of how much cab fare would be?

Thanks everyone!!! :D

Carlos 'n Charlie's is in the downtown area of San Miguel, near the Punta Lagosta Pier. No way could you walk that far from the Puerta Maya Pier. It's a $10 taxi ride - that fare includes up to 4 people, not per cab.:)

It's 3 1/2 miles. The reason I know that is after coming out of Carlos 'n Charlie's we were in no condition to walk and asked a horse and buggy driver how far and he told us 3 1/2 miles, so we decided (four of us) to use his services for $20 total. The cab ride down was $6 total. But we did have a fun ride back to the ship, even if it was costly. If you want fast and cheaper, take the cab. If you want a relaxing ride that's fun, take the horse and buggy.

Oops. :) Mixed up the piers.

While we're on the C&C topic, I found a site with coupons.

http://www.carlosn-charlies.com/eng/default.asp

Towards the bottom, hit "PRINT OUR COUPON" (make sure you allow pop-ups first). You can print the coupon for Carlos n Charlie's (free bbq ribs or cheese nachos with lunch or dinner, one per table, not valid with other promotions) and also Senor Frog's (free margarita or beer, same conditions).

Get those printers running!
