Just back from the Dream 6-23/6-30 any questions---fire away.

Recommended Posts

As we all have different experiences, likes, dislikes, etc, I will say that we loved the Dream (both times we sailed her) and we enjoyed the Blackjack Band. We saw them every evening and later again closer to midnight. No one's going to always have the same opinion so I wanted to give you another view. You may or may not like them but again, we did, very much. They played all genere's of music, not just country. The week we were on board, Ocean Plaza was mostly packed with people listening and dancing. Just my 2 cents. ;)

No matter what, enjoy your time aboard!! :D

To the OP, looking forward to your review! That's what I love about these boards, everyone has a different view (except when people start slamming each other), that's what makes it fun. Think how boring it would be if we were all the same!

Cruisecrzy3 Thanks for your input and yes we looking forward to the Dream. My honey for a hobby is in a band they play mostly for charites, fundraisers, special town occasions so we really into the band thing. They are a group of people mostly retired military (all in their 50's with my honey being the youngest 49 lol) and they play for charities, fundraisers, town events etc, not for the money but for fun. We love listening to bands and the best ones are those who play all types of music like his band does. :)

I will have my opinion when I go on the Dream about the band but quite honestly too many have spoken about that "horrible" guitarist outside the casino, I have yet heard anybody speak any positive about him.

The elevator does go up to the Pasta bar as well.

The stairs are in the buffet area where one gets all of his other food to accompany the pasta. It is a bad design, instead they should have some pasta in the buffet area for parents with little ones who desire it.

The only dish I returned was the Red Snapper dish as it was absolutely horrible.

Gee, was on the Dream a week earlier and returned the same dish, it was cold and tasted like cardboard, in fact all the fish I ordered in the dining room was poor quality, poorly made and luke warm at best. Worse food I have ever had on over 30 cruises.

I learned a lesson that on Carnival all the heart healthy foods listed on the menu tasted like pulp, guess that's why it's healthy for you because you won't eat it!!!
