Oasis June 23, 2012 Review, long, with pictures

This is the Solarium dining area. Had breakfast there one day. Only time I ate there, but, the time I ate there, was not really crowded.

This pic is taken from Port side on deck 16. Pools and hottubs are all below on deck 15. As you look to the right, shaded comfortable lounge chairs that we used all week. The bar is conveniently located right in the center.

This was probably our favorite place on the ship. First, it is tucked into deck 8, kinda off the beaten trail. Absolutely beautiful, Park Cafe for the roast beef sandwiches, Rising Tide bar stops there. One evening we walked through, and they had a guitar player that was as good as Mark Knopfler, Carlos Santana, Eric Clapton ....... bar none ...... this guy was absolutely sensational, acoustic guitar, mostly classical. Have to experience him to believe it.

 

Anyway, the pix speak for themselves, loved Central Park.

This shot was taken right after we got on board. Went to Park Cafe to try the RBs. Notice at the back table, that is Steve, host of our Roll Call party ..... birds of a feather.

 

It would not be the last time that our paths would cross.
