Oasis June 23, 2012 Review, long, with pictures

Recommended Posts

Time for lunch. Son and I ordered something that they said would feed three people. It had a big fish, squid, octopus, shrimp, coleslaw, fries, and lots of other things. The food was exceptionally good, I would recommend eating here.

We were now ready to go hit a beach, and Alberto suggested:

Turned out to be a nice beach. We went here because it was not an all inclusive, no fee to get in.

All we were looking to do was swim, and this fit the bill.

A couple of notes about the casino.

Actually, it is two casinos, one side is smoking, other side is non-smoking. Both pretty much the same.

Texas Hold Em is electronic, which I did not care for. When we were on the Explorer, we had a live dealer and it was a lot of fun. Also, to add insult to injury, the table rakes in 10%.

Minimum wager on the card games with dealers was $10. Craps had $5 tables. They did have electonic blackjack, $2 minimum, and I actually won a couple of bucks on them.

Slots ...... fuhgeddabowdit!
