The Nojito was refreshing it has grapefruit base and mint leaves with limes and lemons...refreshing. Looked just like real one.

My kids had the ultimate package on our recent cruise to Alaska and I tried all their moctails...

Best - hands down - Nojito (the non-alc Mojito). Very refreshing, and very 'mixable' with the appropriate fortification

Better - a couple of the fruity ones (passion & banana something). Fortified they were OK.

Passable - Virgin Mary (i.e. tomato juice)

Awful - pina colada and strawberry. WAY too sweet straight out of the can.

I get the UKP sticker every cruise. You don't have to stick with the mocktails in the menu.... be adventurous and make up your own. The bartenders will make any combination you want - just so long as it doesn't have alcohol. My favourite is Cranberry juice, Lemonade and Lychee syrup. Yum!

At first I only ordered the mocktails listed on the menu. Then I was informed any cocktail can be ordered just let them know it is to be mock. Had no problem getting whatever I wanted. Enjoy. Before heading to our cabin for the night I would get a large juice and place in the frig for the morning.

Here's what I remember from the Golden a couple weeks ago:

Mocktails: $4

Soda: $1.95

Shakes: I forget :)

Basically, 3 or more mocktails a day justifies the UKP, but comes with glucose overload. So, we signed up!

Nojito -- eh, I didn't like it much, Mojitos are better.

Tropical Blend -- my favorite. Kinda like a generic Jamba Juice drink

Key West Cooler -- 2nd favorite. Non-blended cranberry and juice and soda.

Choccobanana -- blech. Didn't like the chocco part. Like drinking Slim-Fast

Daquiri -- way too sweet. Felt like I was drinking straight syrup

I think there was one more, but I don't remember.

The drinks were always mixed up and blended when ordered. Not sure what the OP was referring to about the pre-mixed stuff from a box. The actual mix in the drink seemed to vary a bit from bartender to bartender. We settled in on the one by the International Cafe as the best ones.
