You need to find out from Carnival where they dock. If it's the one nearer to the airport, the one called Pan American Terminal, no, it's an industrial port and there's nothing within walking distance. If your docked at the terminal in Old San Juan, there are hotels all over the place. There's a Sheraton right across the street from the terminal.
