We're thinking of booking a Superior Veranda Suite & are wondering about the different configuration of the rooms listed above. If anyone has used one of these rooms, was there any advantage to such a room as compared with most of the Superior Veranda Suites? A little better view forward from the balcony?

The rooms are somewhat larger (as is the veranda) but the 6108/6113 7079/7080 (7058 is an SA) angle means more wind when the ship is in motion as they face in the direction of travel (towards the bow). Also less privacy as about half your verandah is visible from other verandahs.

Someone very recently asked about this configuration on another of the HAL Ships.

If you go to this thread (Post #3) there are descriptions and links to photos: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1668483&highlight=sz+staterooms

As Maxout said about the cabins 6108 and 6113 they are angle cabins with angle decks which can be nice but not to private on your deck and you can get alot of wind on those decks too, which can cause them to be unusable.

The other two cabins are SA's that are larger and have the access to the Neptune Lounge. Both those two cabins, 7058 and 7079 are right next to the glass elevators. No noise problem but there can be privacy issue when your out on your deck.
