jnky Posted February 4, 2013 #1001 Share Posted February 4, 2013 Hate to burst your bubbles, but there is NO separate line for FTTF for YTD Dining. You are stuck in the same line as everyone else who has selected YTD as their dining choice. The "Priority Dining" means that your dining room choice is confirmed (if you are waitlisted), or your table is selected, after Diamond and Platinum passengers are taken care of. No bubbles bursting here :) That's not the way it was for us~ Happy Sailing ~
AZ Karaoke Girl Posted February 4, 2013 #1002 Share Posted February 4, 2013 I found out that the Inspiration didn't allow entry into cabins because it's not part of the FTTF program. So just being platinum doesn't get you that perk unless the ship offers the upsell option of FTTF. That seems kind of unfair but okay.
Tmfinch13 Posted September 10, 2013 #1003 Share Posted September 10, 2013 Well I purchased mine (4) for our group, we are looking forward to priority boarding and being able to drop carry-ons off in our room first. They do seem to be very controlled, as only 2 groups of 15 have been issued for our cruise on the Breeze in January. Sorry to all the nay sayers with their Platinum and Diamond status, however rest assured I'm not a cruise virgin so hopefully sitting in a lounge with my group won't be to painful.
Jana60 Posted September 12, 2013 #1004 Share Posted September 12, 2013 People booking FTTF don't actually get to sit in the Platinum lounge with diamond and platinum passengers. They have a line out in the main terminal. When the ship is ready to board any wedding parties are boarded first. Then a person comes and escorts the diamond and platinum passengers to the ship. Then the faster to the fun passengers get to board. Finally all of the rest of the passengers board. What Jana60 stated is correct;)
jimdalva Posted September 12, 2013 #1006 Share Posted September 12, 2013 Cruise out of New York and there is no lounge. We all sit together and board when called.

What Jana60 stated is correct;) My mistake, it really doesn't bother me where I sit or stand or with whom I do it with. I was just going off of some of the complaints from the Platinum and Diamond members. Kind of made me feel like I had a bad case of the plague reading through.
RhondaC Posted September 12, 2013 #1008 Share Posted September 12, 2013 On the Valor in San Juan last week, we got to wait in the Priority Lounge, with snacks and sandwiches and lemonade. :) Treawest17: you didn't buy 4 of them, did you? You only need to buy one per room.

Rowan555 Posted September 13, 2013 #1010 Share Posted September 13, 2013 On Elation this week the signs saying no cabin access until 1:30 PM said at the bottom that if you were Platinum, Diamond, or FTTF, come on in, your cabin is ready. The fire doors were closed, but not locked. We went to our cabin at 11 AM and it was ready for us.
elliair Posted September 13, 2013 #1011 Share Posted September 13, 2013 We walked through security in Seattle, bypassed the wine bottle checker and was escorted to the platinum line. Went directly on to the ship and to our cabin - all within 15 minutes. Our luggage arrived about 3 hours later, but no biggie for us, we dropped our carry ons off and went to Lido for lunch. Best embarkation we've had so far.
