Kiwi935 Posted September 15, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 15, 2012  NCL does not have JFK transfers. I am looking for transportation ideas from Manhattan Cruiseport to JFK, at a reasonable price. Read online that Taxis have a set fare (plus tolls, tips) JFK to Manhattan. Is set fare policy in effect from Manhattan to JFK or is trip metered? If metered, any idea of cost? Are there shared vans/shuttles at Cruiseport with JFK destination? njhorseman Posted September 15, 2012 #2 Share Posted September 15, 2012 There is a flat rate taxi fare between Manhattan and JFK (in either direction) of $52 (taxi fares just increased) plus a $.50 state tax. You can also book a car service, such as Dial 7 http://www.dial7.com or Carmel http://www.carmellimo.com . You may actually pay a little less than you would for a taxi . There are shared ride services such as Super Shuttle, but they are pretty horrible in NY City and I don't recommend them.
