We are so excited and ready to set sail on the Magic. This will be my 5th cruise...1st time on Magic...I usually get cold in the MDR and sometimes in the casino...

I am only packing tank tops, shorts, capris, and a few dresses. I think I will only bring 1 sweater and a wrap for MDR just in case though...

Any advise on this ship and its temps from recent cruisers on the Magic..

Thanks :D

I was not cold at all. I was on the Magic in February. I only had a light sweater to wear while I was in Houston. We live in Colorado so the 40-50 degrees there was warm for us. Sometimes it can get cooler in the dining room, but I usually have something to cover my shoulders with while eating anyway. I enjoyed the temperature of the cabin at night. I never found it to be too warm to use the comforter that was on the bed. If you want it to stay cooler in the room, don't leave the balcony door open if you have one.

DH and I will be on the Magic this coming February! No kids, woohoo! It will be a great vacation!

Just got off the Magic on Sunday the 23rd. I did not think the rooms/cabins were cold enough but hubby thought they were just right. MDR hubby glad for long sleeves / jacket. I thought it was the perfect temp. I would think you will be fine with the sweater and wrap you have planned. FYI we arrived at the terminal just before 11AM and never stopped walking until we were on the ship. No lines!!!

I was on the Magic in February and didn't think any areas were too cold. In fact, our cabin was too warm and we had to call for someone to come fix it. Had a tech there right away, I had just set the thermostat wrong - I'm used to the older a/c where you have to stand on the bed and turn the control to let more or less air in! Didn't go out on the deck at night, you might want a sweater there. Loved the Magic!

I just got off Magic on Sunday too. I didn't get cold anywhere except for when we visited the meat locker on the Behind The Fun Tour. We were on deck 8 and our cabin was on the warm side. I was ok but my husband had trouble sleeping as it was too hot for him. Another couple further down the hall told us they were hot in their room too.

Every ship I have ever been on has been FREEZING....I am the girl with a heater under my desk year round :o I always make sure to bring a couple sweaters just in case. Especially if you get a little sun which brings on the chills. I go in 11 days and I will definitely be packing my sweaters.
