dlstex Posted May 21, 2005 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2005 If you have never been to Grand Cayman before, what would be the one thing to do or see that would make this a trip to remember for life?
zydecocruiser Posted May 21, 2005 #2 Share Posted May 21, 2005 Stingray Sandbar. One of the very best excursions on the planet.
lnhoney Posted May 21, 2005 #3 Share Posted May 21, 2005 The stingrays are wonderful!! The rum cakes are very tasty. They don't have a heavy rum flavor but are very moist and yummy. Just my two favorite things about Grand Cayman.:)

98Charlie Posted May 22, 2005 #5 Share Posted May 22, 2005 Yup, the stingrays. Regarding the rum cake, we like Blackbeards and have only found it at GC. Charlie
Nliedel Posted May 22, 2005 #6 Share Posted May 22, 2005 Stingray City, hands down. My first open water dive was there. Heaven. IF you dive there are some memorable wrecks too.

boatbunny Posted May 22, 2005 #8 Share Posted May 22, 2005 Rum Point, most amazing beach I have been to after visiting over 10 Caribbean islands, plus the whole British Virgin Island chain on a sailboat excursion.

Dave&Jeannie Posted May 30, 2005 #11 Share Posted May 30, 2005 You just can't go wrong with anything you choose to do here, it is so beautiful, the people are so nice, and it is very clean. This was our best port of all the cruise, and we are already talking about just flying back and spending a week. We had a lady taxi driver who did a fast tour for us and stopped anywhere we wanted to get out and take pictures. She didn't charge us much, but we gave her a nice tip for showing us so many things. Have fun, it is easy to do there..
injunjoe Posted May 30, 2005 #12 Share Posted May 30, 2005 Are there any tour operators that handle disabled individuals and go to Stingray City? I would think that there are none but it doesn't hurt to ask. Injun Joe
