Apple iOS6 and Princess WiFi

I'm curious, though: to the folks who are reporting current problems with iOS 6, have you tried 1.1.1.1 and is it not working?

The problem with iOS6 is that the wi-fi disconnects and your internet session doesn't disconnect...as far as logging out, the internet upgrade has a new log out and timer screen which might be more effective, but right...1.1.1.1 ain't that big a deal.

I'm pretty new with this Ipod stuff and am wondering if I can use my Ipod on the Grand next week?

FWIW I was on the Caribbean Princess for the 10/27 cruise and had no issues using my iPad 3 with iOS 6 for wi-fi. I did go to logout.com at the end of each session and was logged out without any problems.

Not sure how the new operating system will work when we sail in a couple of weeks but in the spring I had no problems with my I pad. DH used his I Pod successfully after the first couple of days. First few days he had to stand in doorway to access the wi-fi. When reported to IS dept they thanked him for reporting it. There was an issue in our cabin area that needed to be repaired. Once done we had no issues.
