European hairdryer in the cabin

So I've searched this forum, and I'm pretty confident that all the Carnival cabins have two plugs at the vanity: a European 220 V and a US 110 V plug. I have a European hairdryer. I'm considering bringing that as opposed to my American one so I can use the American outlet for my flat iron to heat up... I wanted someone to confirm for sure that this will work (I'll be on the Valor). I'd hate to get on the ship and realize that the hairdryer I have is useless... My 1800 watt hairdryer is an absolute necessity!!! I know also to bring our European plug converter so we can use both outlets to charge/use our dual voltage items... Thanks for any help you can give!
