Love all your photos! As others have asked on here, and I am also curious, what camera do you have and what lenses? Super great photos!!

Loving your review! Can't wait to be on the Freedom January 6th.

Thanks for the very nice comments. . . I brought several cameras with me for this Cruise. . .but most are from a Sony DSC-H10 with a vey wide angle lens.

The other that I just bought about 2 weeks ago is GoPro HD Hero3 Black. . .

I am still experimenting with the GoPro HD. . . Thanks again for tuning in !

AHA!! I was right! I'm considering one of those myself, but so far as I've been able to tell, they're locked on the wide angle that gives the "fisheye" look to things sometimes. Can you tell me if that's true or not?

After a few pics, I went back to the pier area, shopped around a bit (I really like to look at the electronics at ports) . . .

Radio

Hi Mark,

Really enjoying your live post. Tel me what kind of electronics do you look at and what do you buy that is a great deal, I am also an electronics junky, but never thought to buy in the Caribbean.

Enjoy your sea days, they are my favourite.

Hello everyone. . .Welcome to Day 6 of “LIVE” from Freedom of the Seas.

Today the weather has taken a turn for the worst, but it is not that bad. . .It has been very cloudy most of the day with a little rain. That really hasn’t put a damper on my plans though. . .The seas have been a little choppy, and I guess it is great that we were finished all 3 ports before this started.

I went to the Diamond, Diamond Plus, and Pinnacle breakfast at 930 today. It was a very nice way for the Crown and Anchor Society to show their appreciation for its most loyal members. . .We had a special menu of breakfast items, and there was one RCI Officer at each table. . . I had to rush right down to the Pharaoh’s Lounge for Captain’s Corner at 10:15.

The Captain and his Senior Officers are very proud of the crew that they work with and together they seem like a well oiled machine.

I plan today on doing Open Skate in Studio B, and Flowrider out on Deck 12 (AFT) We will see how the weather works out for the Flowrider. I was surprised to see many passengers lounging by the pool today with all the cloudy weather, and short periods of rain. . .

I have to spend some time today down in Casino Royale. . .I love the slots and table games there. . .I owe Casino Royale another chance to become “Radio friendly”

Here are a few pics from last night and this morning. . .Thanks for tuning in !

Again, great pictures, Radio!

I don't like the arrangement of the tables by the windows. Why would they arrange the tables so that half of the occupants would have their backs to the windows?

Just a guess, but it looks like they can fit more tables that way.

Hello everyone. . .

Today was the most relaxing day at sea that I’ve had. In this morning’s post, I had plans to do many things, though not all of them got done. I did, however, make it to the open skate in Studio B. Open skating is fun, and if, like me, you are not a professional skater, it is all low key fun where no one tries to compete with you.

They do now require you to wear a helmet which was implemented within the last couple years.

I did spend some time taking photos of the different areas I haven’t been to yet on board. There are still many areas which I have yet to visit and will try and do so tomorrow. I was able to make it back to the Casino Royale, but it looks like I will have to wait for my next cruise for the casino to be “Radio Friendly”.

I have been able to get free Café Americanos all week long in the Diamond Lounge (Deck 14) and the Concierge Lounge (Deck 10); however, today I had the most excellent Starbucks Café Americano served at Café Promenade (Deck 5). There are two shots of espresso which really kind of made me wired after I consumed it.

Tomorrow is our final sea day and I am sure there will be lots of things for me to do. I know I will be dining at Chops tomorrow night which should be a lot of fun.

Here are a few pics from today. . .Thanks for tuning in. More pics tomorrow!

Hi Carol. . .Little Divi would not be a good place for snorkeling. There is an info-booth at the Pier that will point out many of the best locations for snorkeling. ..I have never tried it in St Maartin/

Thanks for the nice comments. . .

Liitle Divi is not ideal for snorkeling IMO. The water is a bit too cloudy. In one of Radios pics you can see a rock pile in the water. We have had luck finding some fish there but not many.

We always bring boxes of cereal with us from the ship. If you go in waist deep water and start throwing out the cereal, a lot of moderate sized silver fish with big dorsel fins will start to come around and it soon becomes a frenzy of them. The kids loved this.
