Best time for America's Cup?

Princess offers two times on my sailing, 12:45 to 3:30 or 2:00 to 4:30. Which would you choose and why? If we are with others in a group, can we request the same boat?

 

Our ship is in port from 10:00 to 6:00

I think that the 12:45 time just destroys your options for the day.

 

Not much time to do anything before or after.

 

The 2:00 slot would allow you to get downtown to do some early shopping and have lunch or go back to the ship and drop your purchases and have lunch on the ship before the excursion.

 

When we did the 12 Metre, they were pretty flexible with which boat was assigned, but seemed to encourage splitting groups so that they would be in competition.

The Americans Cup is a really good excursion! It's been around for a long time. We took our children several times back then.

 

It's lots more fun when it's a bit windy! It's a race. Wind is needed to make it fun!

 

We would pick the 4:30 time slot because, normally, there is lots more wind in the afternoons. People who own/do sail boats will confirm this. Almost always more wind in the afternoon than in the morning/earlier in the day.
