dog sled excursion WITHOUT helicopter?

Hey everyone! My daughter (8) and my parents just booked alaska on HAL, (Juneau, Sitka, Ketchikan, and Victoria BC) and I want to take her to do a dog sled excursion, but am petrified of helicopters. Has anyone done (or does anyone know if they even exist) an excursion with a dog sled that doesn't involve getting into a whirly bird? (this is a fear i am not likely to overcome, so that's pretty much not an option).
