Beach Cabana - Hillside at Nellie's Beach-Pictures anyone?

I also lucked out and one of the guys on my roll call recently cruised on the Oasis and he answered all of my questions. We opted for the more expensive cabana that's over the water per his recommendation. He also found some more pictures via another cruiser friend of his that showed a little more detail and they were very helpful! :)

 

As I said, we did book it....my hubby really wanted some shelter from the sun. We also wanted a place where we could have the group we were with enjoy some time....this fit the bill! :)

Can anyone tell me how far the aqua park is from the cabana's Hillside at Nellie's Beach?

It is a short walk. It would take about 3-5 minutes depending on how fast you walk. The map of Labadee looks really large but in reality, everything is pretty close together.

we booked an over water cabana on Labadee...does anyone know if you can request a specific one?...

We have a cabana at Nellie's Beach in 2 weeks. The last time we had a cabana it was thru a suite. Do you still get the snorkeling equipment and towels when your cabana is on Nellie's? Thanks"

We had an Over the Water Cabana in September on Nellie Beach. We had towels in our cabana along with an ice chest with three large bottles of water, no cups. Grab a few plastic cups from the Buffet. There was no snorkling equipment. We did not ask our attendant for it so not sure if we could have had the equipment.

I forgot. We also had two float mats. Our attendant asked if we wanted more but we did not need anymore. The two were plenty since my DH does not do the water thing. The other three of us shared the float mats.

For those who have had a cabana, did you do anything else while on Labadee?

 

Most likely heading that way in June with 5 of us. Assuming the kids (18 - 23) will want to do some of the other activities (coaster, etc). DH and I would probably stay at the cabana for most of the day. With that in mind was it still worth the $?

 

Any other suggestions on what to do, or not to bother with, on Labadee?
