Return flight - what time is safe?

Hello everyone,

I have a question, and thought this would the place to get the answer.

If our cruise (considering the Carnival Liberty in late June) arrives back in Miami 7 or 8am, what would be the earliest return flight we could book? I am thinking about a return flight that departs out of MIA at 1:10. DH feels that is too tight?? I thought anything after noon is safe?

Please let us know. You should also consider we would be travelling back to Canada, so would also have to clear customs.

Thanks!!

Should be fine.......

I suggest you take a taxi from the port to MIA

If you opt for a van, you have to wait for the van to fill with passengers, luggage goes into a trailer, then the van stops at each terminal at the airport, unloads people out of the van, luggage out of the trailer....on and on:(

You can print your boarding passes the night before in the internet cafe

We also opt to "walk off", carry our own luggage off in the morning
