Back-to-Back Review on the Carnival Ecstasy and Carnival Sensation

OK I am back everyone....sorry to keep you in suspense

 

This is the Society Cigar Bar....even though there is no longer smoking allowed here :rolleyes: We usually hung out here before it was our time to get into the dining room for dinner. The Wind Song dining room is right below. This was also a nice place to hang out to watch sports. There are 2 TV's on each side of the lounge

 

Our first food porn pics of the cruise.....an interesting combination I know :p The broccoli/cheese soup was really good and we ordered fruit every night

 

I love the cheesecake onboard....epecially the one from room service. I could go for a piece of that right now

Before our cruise I had contacted John Heald through his FB page to ask him a few questions. I never expected the surprise that was waiting for us the first night when we returned to our cabin

 

Waiting for us was a 24 Karat Ship on a Stick, a Bottle of Champagne, a plate full of Chocolate covered strawberries, and a very nice note from John Heald

 

Our nightly towel animal likes our little surprise as well :p

 

 

It is reasons like these why I love Carnival Cruise Lines.

This was taken in front of the Neon Bar....which is the Piano Bar. This is located on Deck 8 Midship

 

I love to take pictures in the atrium. It was all decorated for Christmas

 

 

I don't know what it is about this picture....but I think it is pretty cool

My dad and I could sit and watch the ocean go by for hours. It is so peaceful. The outdoor deck is on Deck 10 - Lido. It is a nice, quiet place to sit and relax

 

This is a picture looking into the Bridge on Deck 10....I knocked on the door but suprisingly they wouldn't let me in :p

 

This map is located on Promenade deck at the Rolls Royce coffee bar.....it is nice to check-in and see where we are located

The Rolls Royce Coffee bar. It is a nice place to sit and enjoy a coffee or slice of carrot cake.....or both ;)

Our drinks in the Punchliner Comedy Club....my dad had a margarita and I had the Twilight Zone

 

My favorite towel animal of the cruise......I love the PIG. It still amazes me how they make these out of a towel. I tried to make one when I got home and it looked nothing like what you get onboard

 

Tanasaka (our waiter at breakfast) made my dad a nice little addition at breakfast :D

 

Our view of paradise.....HALF MOON CAY......from our porthole window. Point me to the beach :p

We had to go to the Showlounge to get our tender tickets. We had to wait about 10 minutes before our number was called. We were on the island of Half Moon Cay by 9:30 enjoying our first drink of the day. Half Moon Cay is absolutely gorgeous.....you can't even describe how pretty the water is.

 

We were going to rent a clamshell to go over our 2 chairs but we pulled 2 chairs up into the shade. There is so much shade that you don't really need to rent a clamshell

 

Can you say "PARADISE"

Wow! This is an excellent review! HMC does look like paradise from those pics! We have seen the Ecstasy sail away a few times from Galveston. I can tell it is still a beautiful ship even though I have never been on it. :D
