Great start! That stinks about the seasickness. Also stinks you had to "suffer" through Nassau instead of Half Moon Cay. We did the Liberty in the spring on this itinerary and LOVED HMC. I guess that's what next cruises are for!

Keep it coming!

Tonight was the first of 3 Cruise Elegant nights - we had this one, Christmas Day and on Thursday 12/27. All of us dressed up except for my brother - he decided that he was only going to dress up one day during the cruise - Christmas Day - so he headed to the buffet.

Our dinner choices.

The waiters surprised my daughter with a piece of cake and sang "Happy Birthday" to her.

After dinner we stopped at a few photo areas.

We did some goofy pictures.

After dinner we all scattered - the kids went to Club O2, Chris went up to Lido deck to read, my mom, niece, nephew and I went to the "Wonderful World" show. The show was good but a bit long. After the show my niece & nephew went to bed, my mom & I went to the casino for a bit. Didn't win anything - finally went to bed around midnight.

SEA DAY - MONDAY 12/24/2012

My kids were up/out late so they didn't join us for breakfast. By the time we got up and made our way to the buffet my parents & brother had already eaten. We sat and had coffee with them. Chris and I decided to have breakfast in the Punchliners Comedy Brunch. We headed to the Golden Olympian dining room around 9:15. No wait to be seated at this time but when we left there was a line of about 15-20 people waiting to be seated.

The service was great and the food was tasty. A big basket of bread was delivered to the table - croissants, muffins, breakfast breads etc - way more than what is needed to feed 2 people. Chris ordered the Eggs Benedict, I had an omelet.

After breakfast we met up with my daughter Katie and walked around the ship a bit. We went up top to check out the miniature golf - boy was it windy up there. The sea was still rough today. Because it was so windy we didn't bother with playing.

At noon Katie & I met my mom and niece for the Steakhouse cooking demonstration. It was interesting and some of the food was tasty.

We had Mushroom Cappicino - soup that basically was pureed mushrooms with creme - I didn't care for it. It was an unappetizing gray color. Katie loved it. 2nd item was Baby Spinach Salad. This was ok, just very Blue Cheesy. 3rd item was a Chicken, Macaroni & mushroom dish. This was excellent! Dessert was tiramusu - this also was excellent.

After this we just hung out on the Lido deck. The pool was closed at this time due to rough seas. So instead of pool games there was a game called "last man standing". A group of people started out and had to gather various objects from other passengers, if you were the last to return with that object you were eliminated from the game. Some of the things they had to get were foreign drivers license, bathing suit tops, wigs, 2 left shoes etc - it was pretty silly but entertaining to watch.

At 3:30pm us girls headed to tea time for tea and tasty sweet treats.

Great Review so far. We were on your cruise too. We thought it was one ofthe best we have been on. Will post review soon. We were on the Freedom last Christmas and loved it. The the 2.0 upgrades and staff on the Liberty were even better! We thought Grand Turk and St. thomas were the best islands. We would have prefferred Half moon Cay to Nassau too. So much to do on the boat. We miss it and cant wait to go back. glad you had a good trip too!

I have no idea what we did after Tea - I should have kept notes :) We had dinner in the dinning room that night. My dad wasn't feeling well - he came and ordered but decided before the food arrived that he was going back to the room. Our waiter was great - packed my dads dinner to go for my mom.

After dinner my niece wanted to do the karaoke so we headed there for awhile. The kids went and did there thing and the adults went to the casino for the evening.

ST THOMAS - CHRISTMAS DAY - 11:00A-6:00P

After sleeping in a bit we all met in the Dining Room for breakfast. Since this cruise was our Christmas present we were not exchanging gifts - my mother still surprised the kids with stockings filled with goodies - gotta love grandmothers :) The kids were happy and surprised.

Breakfast in the dining room was ok. It is basically the same menu served during the Punchliners Brunch - but the Brunch days seemed to be "nicer" and the food seemed to be better. My husband and I preferred the breakfast in the dinning room on the Punchliner Brunch days.

Happy kids with their Christmas surprise.

My family has cruised before so we had our "Free Drink" coupon to use. You can only it use in the Dinning Room for breakfast, lunch or brunch. Lizzie loves her "fun" drinks.

We pulled into St. Thomas on time. Weather temperature wise was great but it was overcast that day and rained on us during our excursion.
