bucks724 Posted January 2, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 2, 2013 Any way to find out if the Notre Dame/Alabama championship game will be shown on board, and more particularly, if I will be able to get it on the Breeze? TIA
angel24_ga Posted January 2, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 2, 2013 Why would you care about that game? I mean I could understand if you were asking if UGA would be shown. ;) I am hoping the games will be aired on all the ships! GO DAWGS!!
Tampa Bay Irish Posted January 2, 2013 #3 Share Posted January 2, 2013 Go Irish! I would be shocked if the game wasn't shown on the big screen...assuming your ship has a big screen on Lido deck. The lack of sports programing and TV in general is one of my few complaints about Carnival.

I'll be cheering for your Irish, but only because as a Miami Dolphins fan, I despise Sabin and hope Bama looses big time!
KruznKel Posted January 2, 2013 #5 Share Posted January 2, 2013 The sports bar is the place to go..
douglinc@msn.com Posted January 2, 2013 #6 Share Posted January 2, 2013 I'm pretty sure the game will be televised onboard. Doug
cruisinbanddirectors Posted January 2, 2013 #7 Share Posted January 2, 2013 We were on the Dream last summer during the NBA Finals and they aired those games on the big screen on Lido. Skid be shocked if they didn't show the BCS Championship. But if they don't on the big screen, they will in the sports bar.
bucks724 Posted January 2, 2013 Author #8 Share Posted January 2, 2013 Thanks, everybody! I know on our first cruise, my team (THE Ohio State University Buckeyes) were playing (er, getting their ***es kicked by Florida - hey, at least we have Urban Meyer now...) and it was on the big screen. Last cruise, we didn't care who was playing because it wasn't our team, or maybe I was in the casino. My kid loves the Irish, so she'll be wanting to see the game. Sports bar for her is out of the question, but I wasn't sure if they usually televised all the big stuff on Lido, or if there was any announcement that they would on the Breeze. I guess we'll wait and see, and DVR it if not - she's obsessed with Manti Te'o. GO IRISH!
