Reserving excursions

I'm going on Mariner next month and I would like to reserve on-line a shore excursion. I have OBC I would like to use, but the reservation process seems to require I give a credit card number as part of the reservation. Is there any way to pre-board reserve an excursion and have it biled to my shipboard account, or do I have to wait and book it once onboard and hope it is not sold out?

Any bookings made online before the cruise will be charged at the time of the booking. If you want to use your ON BOARD CREDIT you have to be on board to use it so make the reservation then.

I would strongly recommend NOT to book excursion from the ship, unless it is something very specific. Most "standard" excursions can be purchased on shore for half price. For example, the St. Kitts 3 hours island tour that costs $44 on the ship can be done for $20 from the local tour provider.
