Alaska????

I was perusing an Alaska website covering all cruises in AK and they alluded to the possibility of Seabourn returning to Alaska in 2014. Anyone here heard that rumor? We would love to do Alaska on Seabourn. :D

I hadn't heard anything, but that's not surprising ;). If they did I'd wager it would only be with one of the newer bigger sisters (fuzzy but something to do with greywater systems?).

Years ago at a Captain's Q&A, we were told that the little sisters were not environmentally equipped to meet the regulations of the Alaskan ports. So I assume it will be with the Big sisters. I would enjoy doing Alaska again. I wonder if the ship that is being readied for Antartica would be the one to do Alaska, presumably because of being equipped to go ashore.
