bailey57 Posted February 2, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2013 Is Canaletto the only alternative restaurant on the Ryndam - no Pinnacle or other? If so, is it worth checking out? Thanks for any insight. :)

bailey57 Posted February 2, 2013 Author #4 Share Posted February 2, 2013 Thanks! I thought it was on every ship, but didn't see it on the deck plans, nor is it mentioned on the HAL site (unless I just missed it). Where is it? Is the menu posted somewhere? And any thoughts on Canaletto? Will we be okay booking that once we get on board? Cruising with mom, and we really enjoy doing something other than the main dining room at least a couple times... Sorry for all the questions! :D

Sorry for all the questions! :D We were just on the Ryndam over New Year's. I see you've found the menu for the Pinnacle Grill and KK has generously posted it too. You'll find the Pinnacle Grill on deck 8 (Upper Promenade Deck) just aft of the Explorer's Lounge. We ate there 1 night and while the food was very good the service suffered because there seemed not enough servers for the number of tables occupied. They did an excellent job but because of the level of attention that is paid to each table, the wait between courses was too long. We made our reservations online but we saw many making same evening reservations. We also ate 1 night at Canaletto, which is located on the port side of the ship in the Lido Buffet. We had an excellent meal there with excellent service. Have a great cruise!
