Can I get RCI cruise points for a Celebrity cruise?

Recommended Posts

As you can see from my signature line, I took a cruise with Celebrity in 2003. Can those seven days be used to give me C&A credit? Or am I just starting from scratch with RCI?

(and I apologize if there is already a thread on this subject -- I looked but couldn't find it, the keywords are too common)

Unfortunately................no. Each cruise line has it's own loyalty program and points are only earned on that particular line. BUT, once you obtain Diamond status on Royal Caribbean's Crown & Anchor program or Elite in the Captains Club on Celebrity.........then your status is honored by either line.

Thanks, all -- I figured it was too good to be true, but I had to at least try! :D

And I figured I could get knowledgeable answers here, instead of the not-so-dependable answers you sometimes get from the customer service reps at the toll-free call center.

Thanks again! CC members rock!

Not just Diamonds......

"As a benefit of Platinum, Emerald, Diamond, Diamond Plus and Pinnacle Club membership in Royal Caribbean's Crown & Anchor Society, you will receive equivalent recognition in Celebrity Cruises' Captain's Club and Azamara Club Cruises’ Le Club Voyage. If you are currently a member of each loyalty program, you will automatically receive benefits based on your membership level between each. For instance, if you are a Crown & Anchor Platinum or Emerald member and a Captain's Club Classic member, you will be automatically be entitled to the Select level in the Captain's Club and Explorer in Le Club Voyage . If you are a Diamond or Diamond Plus member; you will automatically receive equivalent recognition as a Captain's Club Elite member and Discoverer in Le Club Voyage. The benefits of the programs will stay independent, and the number of sailings a member accrues on each brand will not be combined. You will earn the Cruise Credit or Cruise Point for the brand you are sailing as long as you are a member of that brand's loyalty program."
