Using someone else's CC to book while on board??

I am sailing on the Freedom in a few days and want to book a cruise that my sister and I are taking next January. We are using her CC to pay the deposit. Since her name will be on the reservation also, will they let me do this or allow her to call in her card number? We want to do it while I am on board so that we get the $100 OBC and the Friends & Family certificates as we have others going with us.

Any experience with this?

As long as both of your names are on the reservation it should be fine. I booked a cruise using my Husbands CC. His name is not on reservation(girlfriends cruise). Carnival sent me a form for him to sign authorizing me to use his CC

Thank you Pebbles. I have my PVP checking in to it so hopefully we'll be able to do that too :).

if your sister is not'sailing with you and its her card you will not be able tomuse her card to deposit the cruise.

can you get a debut card before you sail.

or havemyour sister add your name to the credit card before you sail

I'm assuming these issues are an on board only issue, then? I booked my upcoming cruise online using my uncle's Carnival credit card and seem to have had no issues - no contact from Carnival via phone, email, or mail for either of us ; just wondering if this is something I should maybe check into - he did say the charge went through no problem.

What kind of friends and family discount do you get for booking onboard?

You get two certificates to give to friends or family and if they book the same cruise that you booked while on board, they will also get the $100/cabin OBC (this is for our 6-nt cruise).

OBC for 6 day cruise is $75; the $100 OBC is for 7-9 day cruises.,

I would seriously doubt they would let you use someone elses CC. Can you imagine the lliability or how many disputes they would have to process? Why don't you just purchase the FCC's yourself?

FCC's are no longer available. In order to get the vouchers for friends & family giving them OBC, you have to book onboard.
