LOVE that Princess allowed own carry off of luggage

So we just got off the Sapphire.............so glad to see they offered you carrying off your own luggage so didn't have to put out night before or hunt it down in port on day of disembark. Hubby & I usually only take 1 big bag & 2 carry ons for 7 day..............it was sooo easy carrying off.............hope they offer this on all ships. Last year, we were on NCL & they offered it......:)

I am hoping we can do this after our Alaskan cruise on the Star in August. We should have plenty of time to catch our flight, but depending on how long it takes to dock, we could be cutting it close for our flight. Not having to look for our bags would be a big plus.

I did this for the first time in December and am planning on doing it from now on if i have no one waiting for me. I take a big bag and small duffle (both rollers) so it is no problem for me either.

DW and I did this for the first time about 6 weeks ago in San Pedro, getting off the Golden after Hawaii sailing. Had 2 large and 2 small luggage pieces, no problem at all. Got to LAX 2 hours ahead of time for 11:20AM flights.

 

Would consider doing this from now on. Went pretty smooth.
