Transporting suits?

Just a quick easy question.

 

How do regular cruisers transport their suits/jackets? Are they packed carefully into cases or taken by some other means? Silly I know..just wondering.:rolleyes:

We have a leather suit carrier, OH formals and jackets goes in there, and through the hole in the wall, never had a problem yet. Suit carrier is sturdy, would not try it with a lesser one. Also never carried suit carrier onboard as it is quite heavy to cart around....

Bung it in the case last works for me. As for creases, whats a crease:D

I agree with Dave, bung it in the case and don't worry about the creases. After all, nobody knows you!!!!!!:)

We just put everything as carefully as possible in our cases and have never had any problems. We keep everything on hangers and hang things up as soon as the cases arrive. We then just hang jackets etc in the shower room when we're taking a shower and let the steam take out any little folds that are left.

We always use a garment bag for my suits and her dresses. I have also heard it helps if you place them inside dry cleaner bags while on the hangers. Supposedly prevents a lot of the wrinkles. Formal night isn't usually the first night anyway so most wrinkles will hang out.

I use a suit carrier that goes through the hole with the rest of the cases, and hang it up as soon as it has found its way to the cabin

I/we must take more clothes than you. If I put OH suits and hangers in the cases ,there would be nowhere near enough room for the clothes we like to take!!!

We took a suit cover which had hubby's suit and my dress in, which folded in half, then took it on as hand luggage
