gordyde Posted April 28, 2013 #1 Share Posted April 28, 2013 Has anyone taking a shore excursion with crusingexcursions.com in Freeport, Bahamas. They offer a great combination tour I am really interested in. In reading their reviews I see a lot for Rome, Italy, Med, etc. but nothing for Freeport. Can anyone help? CruiserBruce Posted April 28, 2013 #2 Share Posted April 28, 2013 You might want to do some research over on the Bermuda board. Know that cruising excursions is simply a broker, booking local venders to provide your tour. The reviews have been great prices, not always great customer service when there is a problem. Bonnie J. Posted April 28, 2013 #4 Share Posted April 28, 2013 What type of tour are you looking for? We have used an excellant tour for snorkeling and they also have a cave tour & national park. Do you want to go to a beach? (Why are some posts talking about Bermuda? Can you book a Freeport tour thru a Bermuda company?? We got to Freeport frequently.) gordyde Posted April 28, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted April 28, 2013 Freeport Bahamas information please, not Bermuda. Answer makes sense though, Cruising exccursions.com asks you to put in your ship name, sailing date and port you are interested in. then it comes up with shore excursions they offer. Much better prices than ship excursions and, frankly, seems like better tours. Just wondering if anyone used the one in Freeport Bahams.
gordyde Posted April 28, 2013 Author #6 Share Posted April 28, 2013 Bonnie, thanks for info. this tour visit Millionaires Row, International Bazaar and Gardens of the Groves. visit downtown, conch vendor where you will see how to make a conch salad. Visit the distillery, candle stick factory, home of Count Basie, some shopping. It's a 3 hour tour that appealed to us because of its diversity.
