Cruising on Amsterdam in May. Anyone know if there is Wi Fi on board?

Wifi is available on all HAL ships. It's quite expensive and often painfully slow. It is also better in some areas of the ship than in others.

These are the current rates though there has been some fiddling with them on Zuiderdam lately so a change may be coming:

 

 

HAL is currently on Zuiderdam (and perhaps other ships) fiddling around with internet rates and they don't seem to have settled on what, if any, change they will be making to the rates. At the moment, these are the available packages:

You cannot connect any device while at sea without going through the ship's Internet.

Look for a cone in the hallways andd other areas of the ship for the best reception.

All HAL ships are equipped with WiFi. We try to avoid computer use as we are on vacation.

If you find the signal is not that strong in your cabin, try opening your door halfway. Sometimes that will make for a much better signal.

I sailed the Amsterdam last summer. Our cabin was 6178 on the Verandah deck. I found that I had a better signal if I sat on the floor right by the door. Didn't need to open the door but sat right in front of it. Signal was weaker the further I went into the room.
