darlacat Posted May 16, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 16, 2013 Greetings, Our first cruise is a Western Carribean, 7 night cruise in August - yay! I know that daily ship activities change from cruise to cruise and part of the fun is not knowing what is going to happen 24/7 or what is going to be available - but what might we expect? Dance Lessons? Cooking classes? Scavenger Hunt? Bingo? What else have you seen on Carnival cruiselines? SO hoping there will be cooking classes - ! Thanks for any responses in advance. Rare Keith1010 Posted May 16, 2013 #2 Share Posted May 16, 2013 By far the best place to get answers about Carnival is the Carnival Cruise Line Board. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=215 Keith
Rare Scrapnana Posted May 16, 2013 #3 Share Posted May 16, 2013 Examples from the Carnival Pride are shown here. http://johnhealdsblog.com/funtimes/2011-07-21/Carnival%20Pride/ Each ship will be a little different (and these are 2 years old) but it will give you an idea. Enjoy your cruise.
Bonnie J. Posted May 17, 2013 #4 Share Posted May 17, 2013 You didn't say what ship but most Carnivel ships do the same things. Yes, there is Bingo and usually dance lessons. No cooking classes but folding towel class and a guess what the BIG block will be as you watch it being carved. Sometimes a scavenger hunt but there are activities on the deck by the pool. There is a 'your favorite drink ' contest. Passngers make a drink and give it a name. The best one by other passenger judges is then on the Carnival drink menu for the entire cruise. They often have a hairy chest contest for the men with woman judges for the best- not necessarily the hairiest, wins . You will find a Fun Times in your cabin when you get there. This lists all the activities for that day. You will get one every evening for the next day. Some people bring a high liter and mark what they want to do. Krazy Kruizers Posted May 17, 2013 #5 Share Posted May 17, 2013 Welcome to Cruise Critic. There will be times when there are 2 activities that you want to do at the same time. Rough decision.
